Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program provides
rental assistance.

Offers individuals with mental, physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges an opportunity for independence/self-reliance. Services may include social skills training for persons who are chronically mentally
ill, a drop-in center, a transitional living center, a
homeless shelter and housing assistance. The New Start for Veterans Program provides transitional housing for homeless men and women veterans.

Vocational supports and intensive case management for
individuals with server emotion/behavioral disorders,
life skills training, mentoring for adolescents; supporting
children and adults with disabilities with transitional
housing, permanent adorable housing, transportation
services, child care and other services to maintain
independence in the community.

NTHA owns, operate and maintains 517 units of public housing in 2 separate properties in Houma (Bayou Towers and Senator Circle). Under the Low Rent Housing Assistance Program, residents pay monthly rent based on their income and the level of assistance they need.

Offers therapeutic counseling, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, support groups and education for women and children who are victims of family, sexual or domestic
violence or rape.
