(HUD funded).

and/or other disadvantaged residents of St. Charles
Parish programs and services including weatherization,
commodity distribution, emergency assistance, and
energy assistance. Hours: 8:30 AM -4:00 PM Monday-Friday

Provides rent/mortgage and utilities assistance. Hours: Monday –Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Provides homeless assistance to families moving from LaCHIP and SHIIP and Medicaid applications.

Offers individuals with mental, physical, intellectual, and
emotional challenges an opportunity for independence/self-reliance. Services include social skills
training for persons who are chronically mentally ill, a
drop-in center, a transitional living center, a homeless
shelter and housing assistance. The New Start for Veterans Program provides transitional housing for
homeless men and women veterans.

Families that have a history or potential for domestic
violence, dating violence, child abuse, sexual assault or stalking can use this location as a safe place for their children to visit with the non-custodial parent. It is also a safe location to drop children off who would be visiting the non-custodial parent for the weekend.
